Joining Elmtree

Our admissions process links closely with families, SEND Officers and commissioning teams, we welcome visits from families and professionals, actively encourage ‘stay and play’ style visits for the learners to experience the building as well as video tours to build knowledge prior to coming to the building.

Once placements have been confirmed we provide our families with a welcome pack:

• Uniform – 2 t-shirts and a hoodie [Other items are available to meet sensory needs]
• Water bottle
• School book – a book we feel is an important story linked to the Elmtree Family that the learners and their families are joining.
• A small friend to join in on the adventure of joining Elmtree Grove
• Key information leaflet

Once learners have joined, families and professionals around the learner receive ongoing updates of their progress and are invited to regular events throughout the school year.
